Ram History!

Miami Coral Park was founded in 1963 and was intended to serve the suburban Miami area. The school started out composed of 1 building, now known as the “old building”. As time went on, the school expanded to gain a significant Hispanic population, thanks to events like the Mariel boatlift and Operation Pedro Pan, as well as immigration from other South and Central American countries into the county. The school has always suffered from some overcrowding, which led to the expansion of the school. Construction for the “science wing” of the school and the library began in 199x and a new building was added in 2005, providing two floors of instructional space and a second office, as well as a covered parking lot and a new cafeteria.

Today, Miami Coral Park is led by Principal Dr. JacAngelo and offers and education for 3,400 students ranging from grade 9 to 12 and offers one of the best Engineering programs for students to achieve their full potential.

Among the alumni who attended this school, many of them went on to achieve great success as actors, businessmen, and athletes, showing the success many of our students go achieve in real life. These alumni include Steven Reinemund (former CEO of PepsiCo), Lili Estefan (El Gordo y La Flaca), Jose Canseco (Major League Baseball player), and Armando Christian Perez (AKA: Pitbull a famous rapper).
